What you'll do?
- Develop and implement a ML/DL-based system for detecting and tracking objects in lidar point cloud data
- Closely collaborate with experienced ML experts
- Perform literature research to obtain a basic understanding of established state-of-the-art approaches
- Face and solve problems characteristic of ML/DL systems
- Explore promising solutions/techniques aimed at improving the performance of the system
- Work hands-on with real-world automotive datasets
What you'll bring
- Bachelor´s Degree in Math, Science, Engineering or Informatics
- Good knowledge about Machine Learning \ Deep Learning (experience is a plus)
- Good knowledge of Python programming language (experience is a plus)
- Familiarity with python ML framework (e.g. Pytorch, TensorFlow)
- Methodological and logical thinking
- Knowledge in the field of (radar) signal processing welcome
- Thorough, diligent, and independent way of working
- Enjoy being part of an international team
- Profound knowledge in English, verbal and written, German is optional
