What you'll do?
- Monitor and compose global requirements trends for new regulatory fields (e.g. AD, Connectivity, Data Exchange, AI, Privacy, Sustainability, etc.)
- Assess system level requirements, analyze potential implications for Veoneer products, and highlight to Engineering & Product Planning departments
- Maintain external network to regulatory industry experts. Promote Veoneer position to the regulatory bodies
- Generate and maintain organizational knowledge about standardization, certification and homologation support needed for Veoneer products
- Regularly disseminate information scouted in external activities to relevant departments
- Maintain intranet presence for his area of responsibility (posts, topic pages)
- Provide internal trainings about technical requirements for existing and upcoming regulations
- Support Requirements Management with respect to regulatory content
- Observe external service providers for regulatory content and coordinate connection to internal requirements management systems
What you'll bring
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering or equivalent, Economic education is a plus
- At least 5 years of experience in automotive product development, testing, or systems engineering
- More than 3 years of Technical Regulations / Ratings and Requirements Management experience
- Experience of 2+ years representing company in external bodies
- Project management, design lead or requirements management experience is a plus
- Open-minded to work in multi-cultural international environment
- Good communication as well as presentation skills as well as team player skills with an proactive approach
- open to business travels to locations in Europe or if necessary overseas
- Good knowledge in English & German, both verbal and written, additional languages are a plus
