What you'll do?
- Producing ready-to-use, high-quality software with an impact as well as a crucial part to the overall system
- Testing of software in the laboratory or in the car
- Working within the team or a network
- Independent coordination of your tasks and activities with your team members
- Ensuring of robustness, performance and security aspects within the software design
What you'll bring
- University degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable course of study or similar qualification
- Extensive practical software development experience, preferably in C/C++
- In-depth knowledge of data structures, algorithms and software design with very good analytical thinking and error analysis skills
- Experience in developing and integrating software platforms for embedded devices
- Experience in the field of embedded software development with hardware debugging
- Experience in the field of RADAR signal processing and/or network protocols (e.g. Ethernet, IPv4, UDP, RTP) would be an advantage
- Methodogical experience and process knowledge for a professional software development (e.g. SPICE, ISO 26262)
- Preferably knowledge of
- microcontrollers (e.g. ARM controllers) or
- scripting languages (e.g. Python) or
- LWIP stack or
- RTOS (e.g. FREERTOS, SAFERTOS) would be an advantage
- Good communication skills as well as team player skills with an proactive approach
- Good knowledge in English & German, both verbal and written
